-I just got back from the dentist's.
-I feel like a duck
-or a duck billed platypus.
-My mouth is still numb
-but not everywhere, so it hurts too.
-It was a bad visit.
-So, I needed some "blogging therapy."
-It was either that or "shopping therapy"
-but I didn't want to shop while looking like a duck.
-I get really nervous about going to the dentist's.
-I hear that's pretty common.
-I thought I'd try the nitrous.
-I had a weird reaction to it.
-I don't know if that's common.
-I felt out of control.
-I started crying.
-I had tears rolling into my hair.
-I couldn't help it.
-It was embarrassing.
-They turned the gas down.
-I started laughing
-really hard,
-until I had tears rolling into my hair.
-Again.
-I couldn't help it.
-It was embarrassing.
-I left the dentist's office with mascara all over my face.
-I called Kedar from my car to talk with him about it.
-He asked why I cried.
-I told him I had no idea.
-I'm still really nervous about going to the dentist's
-and now I'm embarrassed about going too.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry about your trip to the dentist! I hate going too in fact I promise myself a carmel malt on the way there just to get myself to go. I usually finish it off as I walk through the door. Don't even care that I can't brush my teeth before he see's me. It got me there & thats all that matters.
That is so funny! I'm not laughing at you- just with you. :) I was a dental assistant and your reaction actually is very common. Cute post!
What a fun blog! i don't like dentists much either, and I'm seeing far too much of mine right now with a second go at braces. I'm almost done though...I told him he had 6 months to get it right!
Hey, dentists aren't that bad. Sorry you had a bad time
