It was a Dark and Stormy Night...

The pumpkins were already dissected; their empty shells sat deserted on the front porch.  The feeble flames within struggled to stay alight in the tumultuous wind and drenching rain.

Sitting on the piano, inside the dripping house, were the all of the essentials for potions and poisons that every witch needs to have on hand.  Slimy eyeballs stared plaintively out of the glass jar that kept them caged.

Reptiles of every sort slithered and writhed in their captivity.  Spiders scrambled across every surface lending themselves to the dreary atmosphere.

On hand, were the most rare of potions, only to be used in the most drastic of circumstances: Amortentia- the most potent love potion, Felix Felicis- one drop provides the drinker with good luck for hours on end,  Veritaserum- a truth-telling concoction, an Aging Potion and of course, the famous Elixir of Life.

But even more dreadful than the serums and solutions and their ghastly ingredients, were the inhabitants of this house.  Their youth might lure you into a false sense of security, but one look at their skull-like faces tells a different story.  A story of dark nights performing unearthly ninja moves in the shadows.  Or perhaps the story of a girl with a fascination for red sparkly shoes who narrowly evaded capture by a green faced witch.

Hope your Halloween was as "Spooky" as ours was!
